“cover me” second draft

By jon steinmeier

MP3!

here’s draft two.  thanks for the comments and suggestions!

i ditched the old bridge, and am pretty happy with the new one.  and a better ending i think, although maybe a bit abrupt.  i dunno.

so this is not my favorite style of music and the first couple of times, it didn’t touch me. but I just listened again and it warmed my heart.

you are quick the jack of all trades, aren’t you. I am impressed that you can actually pull off all these genres

well good! honestly, it hasn’t “warmed my heart” much in general, but i know the idea is there. i like the song more and more, but it’s sort of a strange premise maybe. anyway, i’m glad it’s work’n for you bab.

and thanks, on the jack of trades bit. ;)

i have raw files i’ve been sending to people interested in trying a remix of that one.

i’ll eventually post all the mixes once a few come in.

wanna take a stab at mixing it?

  10. Neil Says:

Fun!! The keyboards really remind me of Paul McCartney’s “With A Little Luck” (but at a faster tempo, of course).
